A botanical fragrance for anyone. Unisex.
Thessaly Eau de Parfum, photographed as a still life

Thessaly is the one place we let chemistry turn to poetry, but even here the materials are named. The top is cypress and bergamot, cool and resinous. The heart is immortelle, the everlasting flower, with a curl of clary sage. The base is labdanum and a little oakmoss, warm and dry.

It is twenty percent fragrance concentration, which is high, so it lasts. We disclose the allergen-listed naturals on the carton, as the regulations ask, rather than hiding them under the word parfum.

The formula, in full.

4 ingredients. Each named, sourced and explained. The percentages add to one hundred.

    Distilled, Greece
    Top note. Cool, green, resinous.
  • · Bergamot Citrus Bergamia Peel Oil
    Calabria
    Top note. Lifts the opening.
  • · Immortelle Helichrysum Italicum Extract
    Corsica
Heart. The everlasting flower, honeyed and dry.
  • · Labdanum Cistus Ladanifer Resin
    Rockrose resin, Spain
Base. Warm, ambered resin from rockrose.

Scent Green and resinous: cypress, immortelle, labdanum, oakmoss.

What it will not do.

  • It will not smell identical on two people. A botanical base shifts with skin chemistry; that is the nature of naturals.
  • It will not last like a synthetic musk. Twenty percent concentration is strong, but naturals fade more honestly.

Not in this formula

  • Synthetic musks
  • Phthalate fixatives
  • Undisclosed parfum
