Orin Balm Cleanser
A solid balm of three butters that melts on contact and takes the day, the sunscreen and the make-up with it.
The first cleanse, for make-up and sunscreen.
Orin is the oil step before Vell. It is shea, mango and a little jojoba, set solid and melted by the warmth of your hands. Massaged on dry, it dissolves sunscreen and make-up; a warm cloth lifts the lot.
There is no added water and so no preservative system to speak of. Keep it dry and it keeps for a year.

- 38% Shea butter Butyrospermum Parkii Butter
Hand-pressed, Ghana The body of the balm; rich in fatty acids. - 20% Jojoba Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil
Cold-pressed, Western Australia A liquid wax close to skin sebum; carries the melt. - 18% Mango butter Mangifera Indica Seed Butter
From the mango seed, India A lighter butter to keep it from feeling heavy. - 0.5% Tocopherol Tocopherol
Vitamin E, from sunflower Vitamin E, to keep the butters from going off.
Faintly nutty, from the butters. No fragrance is added.
What it will not do.
- It will not rinse clean without a cloth. The melt needs lifting off, not splashing.
- It will not suit being left somewhere hot, where it melts in the jar.
